CDC Investigates 155 Cases of ‘Polio-like’ AFM, Confirms 62

The confirmed cases of acute flaccid myelitis (AFM) in the United States this year have now spiked to 62 cases in 22 states, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This is up from early-October when the CDC had confirmed 38 cases of AFM in 16 states.1 2 3

The CDC is investigating a total of 155 cases of the polio-like condition that affects the nervous system, specifically the spinal cord, and can cause muscle weakness, paralysis, and respiratory failure. One death has been associated with the AFM.1 2 4

AFM affects mostly children. About 90 percent of those with AFM are 18 years of age or younger. The average age of those diagnosed with the illness is four years old. There have been only a handful of adult cases of AFM. 4 5

Jason Smith, MD of Primary Pediatrics in Macon, Georgia says that AFM “affects the grey matter in the spinal cord and in the brain. It demyelinates the neurons there, which means basically it uncovers those neurons so they don’t work very well or don’t work at all.” He adds, “Their face may droop. Their smile might not look symmetric. Their airway could get loud because it relaxed, weakness in the arms or legs.”6

The CDC admits that public health officials “don’t know the cause of most of the cases of AFM.” The following statement is posted on the CDC’s website: “We don’t know what caused the increase in AFM cases starting in 2014. We have not yet determined who is at higher risk for developing AFM, or the reasons why they may be at higher risk.”1

What is clear is that AFM appears to be spreading among young children in the U.S. Within the past three weeks alone, the confirmed cases have grown by 61 percent. There are nearly twice the number of confirmed cases so far this year compared to all of last year. In 2017, there were 33 confirmed cases of AFM in 22 states.1

States that have reported confirmed cases of AFM this year include Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.7 8 9

Has anyone correlating the data in these cases for vaccine vs non-vaccine kids? Any particular vaccine that has been added to the schedule since this began? Ex: flu vaccine?

I would like to know how many of these people were recently vaccinated within the past 6 months? My daughter developed GBS (Guillian- Barre Syndrome) at 16, I am suspecting the HEP B vaccine she received. Of course her Dr wouldn’t admit that the injection she had given her caused it. The symptoms of AFM are exactly the same as GBS, how exactly do they distinguish between those two and Polio?

I wonder how many of these cases occurred shortly after receiving the “polio shot”?

The book, The Moth in the iron Lung, a Biography of Polio, by Forrest Maready, is well worth a read as background for evaluating this emerging AFM plague. The book traces the relationships between toxic metal poisoning and infection by various organisms that can cause paralysis. While there is apparently a lot less toxic metal poisoning of the general public these days, we all know there are plenty of other toxic and infectious exposures that harm the nervous system. We should all realize that the ever increasing exposure to microwaves from smart phones, cell towers, smart meters, wifi, and the new 5G are just as toxic to the nervous system, cell membranes and the body as a whole as any molecular poison ever was. I will not be surprised to see massive increases in these numbers, mandatory polio shots for all, and the continuing deterioration of health in all Americans as the real causes of ill health continue to be ignored and denied.

Wow a sort of straight forward story.

But what yo have left out are (1) in America the Polio vaccine given is not a live vaccine. It is killed/inactive vaccine that cannot result in Polio while the live Polio vaccine can cause vaccine strain polio.. (2) Despiite 1, every child has been tested for polio with negative results.

Are they checking to see if there is a connection to the flu vaccine? CDC may be covering up for big Pharma. Sorry, but this is too serious a problem for our children. My husband was given a pneumatic vaccine without permission and was dead within 6 weeks. Of course I had no recourse in the matter. The hospital even phoned up the death certificate. Thank you for all your efforts to make people aware of the facts concerning the vaccine hoax.

I went back to the timeline of vaccines in this country to see what may have been added to the regimen during the time frame in which we saw the increase in cases begin and what I found was in 2015 the CDC approved DTaP+IPV (which contains inactivated polio along with the other things) and was intended for ages 4-6. Hmmm, could this be part at least of this “outbreak”? When something starts to happen, it is good to look at what changes occurred about that time…

It is high time for the medical establishment to treat these cases with high dose vitamin C in the form of sodium ascorbate or liposomal ascorbate . On youtube, one can watch Dr. Suzanne Humphries describing a doctor, decades ago who cured many cases of polio with high dose vitamin C therapy. Our public health fraternity , which is so good at publishing pamphlets telling parents to keep their child healthy by washing his hands, never seems to make a point of telling parents to give their children vitamin D , or to get their child out in the sun. Nor do they explain to parents the importance of daily vitamin C through fruits Both of these practises would substantially decrease sick days in children and save lives.

If you have read about the cause of polio, you will know that it started with a toxin, DDT, which activated the polio viris. It worked the same way, attacking the spinal cord and brain. It sounds to me like the cause could be aluminum. I suggest all vaxxed children drink Fiji to flush out aluminum and use homeopathy as below. read about aluminum research at http://www.cmsri.org

My question is this: has anyone done a thorough investigation of events in these children’s lives prior to onset? It seems that most of these states are the sunnier ones, but how many kids these days get enough outside time to develop D3? Most parents slather on the sunscreen every time they go out the door…more investigation needs to happen, but if I had young children now, I’d be making sure they received supplementation with D3, A, E, and C, and didn’t have any large vaccination series at one time.

And, of course, once you are put into the hospital what is the first thing they do??? Eliminate fat and cholesterol from your diet – both of which are known to protect and rebuild…. what??? Myelin sheathing of the nerve cells. GO FIGURE. Might not be a miracle cure to put these things back into these children’s diets, but it certainly does not help anybody to eliminate those parts of the diet that can help the body rebuild what has been and is being destroyed.

They are bringing God knows what into our population. No more Ellis Island, no more screening people that want to move next door to you and I.Build the damn wall and protect US citizens.

Is this a take your kids out of school concern if there is a reported case nearby? Have read quite a few articles on this and would like better information on how this is transmitted with children. Also, any advice on possible supplements or dietary inclusions which could help provide natural immunity to deflect this in the first place?

Has their been any attempt by the CDC to investigate this to see what vaccines were given to those who develop this condition? Since each year the flu shot is new – it would be important to know for example if all the cases or most occurred in flu vaccinated individuals. Second it would be important to know which enteroviruses they have found associated with this?

CDC has admitted in the past that contamination has occured in the process of making vaccines, such as SV40 in the Polio vaccine. Would it be possible that any of the series of the current vaccines be recently contaminated with AFM? We know that the CDC distributes the same LOT of vaccines throughout the US, they don’t send one LOT to one specific place in case of problems in one such LOT. My hopes for the sake of the children in the US is that the CDC investigates the series of vaccines that each sick child has received and LOT #’s of each one and do a comparative analysis to find out if there is a common link and investigate from there.

I’m curious why there is no thorough, detailed forensic epidemiological study regarding this. And, how were these cases “confirmed”? Was the supposed polio virus isolated in each person or was this like in the case of HIV (RNA virus) and Hep B,C (RNA viruses) etc.. where a protein test strip only detects antibodies….which may or may not be set off by polio virus (if one truly exists, read “Trial by Fury” for starters) and more likely by other conditions, toxins, inflammation, recent vaccine, sickness with cold/flu….. Viruses, at least real cytotoxic DNA virus, do not pick and choose who they infect. Kochs Postulates is the gold standard to sort all of this non$en$e out. But opportunistic scientists from the days of the polio scare, have tossed Kochs out the window. Wonder why? I know, do you?

Maybe this illness is related to the rise in migrant children that began in the summer of 2014. ie. those people from those countries (Guatemala, Honduras, etc) have an immunity to some virus strain that our children do not. Then we had another spike of these immigrants in April 2017. Does this seem feasible? Are the locations of these cases correlated with the places that those 2014 immigrants ended up? Since we don’t screen or follow them, (like we used to do at Ellis Island decades ago) is there any way to tell?

If the victims were not vaccinated they’d already be screaming it form every media outlet available so we can pretty safely assume that the majority of them, if not all, were vaccinated. I pray they find answers soon. This is terrible. Those poor children and their families.

No, you heard wrong. People too ignorant to understand are skipping vaccinations and that has a lot to do with the problem. Many of these new cases include children who were NOT vaccinated.

It is not “obvious” that AFM is vaccine caused. However it is certainly worthwhile to look at the issue from that perspective letting the facts fall where they will. There has never been public admission of causation from vaccines despite very clear cases. Reducing public confidence in vaccines has enormous economic consequence. This is precisely why it will never happen and the issue is so polarized.

4000 cases of polio caused by Salk vaccine in Massachusetts in the summer of 1955 were investigated by CDC’s Alexander Langmuir- the father of the Epidemiological Intelligence Service…

You need a compartmented clearance to see the analyses so ask WRAIR which ran the program. Big pharma just follows orders and the money trail leads away from the actual problem.

Polio is defined as an asymmetric ascending acute onset flaccid paralysis. Injection limb paralysis in the old polio cases can start the paralysis in upper limbs … and it spreads to family members who will initiate paralysis in one of the legs then it progresses upwardly but the paralysis is not even in opposing limbs.

AFM only differs from the classic description of polio in that is may start in upper injected – or opposite injected – limbs. AFM is caused by a trypsinized variant of Salk Type 1 polio virus.

Maybe the new 5G services (powerful microwave frequencies) have powered up in their environments and have fried/cooked their delicate nervous systems. This IS NOT A VIRUS! Nor caused by “germs”. Its totally a biological “frequency” malfunction of developing neurons….see jackkruse.com. These kids are “canaries in the coal mine” and we should be reacting quickly. Chasing germs & viruses will be wasting time while our kids continue to get zapped.

Parents need to meet the school vaccine requirements and most procrastinate until the start of school hence the incidences spike in September. It’s simply caused by vaccines which is why they ‘don’t know what causes it’. As if with modern technology they would simply have no answer. They know exactly what causes it.
