More Research on Vaccines “Definitely Needs to Be Done” Says U.S. Congressman

Physician Mark Green of Clarksville, Tennessee was elected last month to the U.S. House of Representatives. He is scheduled to be sworn into his new post on Jan. 3, 2019.1 2

In the last few weeks, the newly elected congressman was inducted into the brass knuckle world of political correctness when he dared to step out of line and publicly voice his concern about the safety of vaccines.

Rep.-elect Green, 54, graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and did his residency in emergency medicine at Fort Hood, Texas. He served as a special operations flight surgeon in both Afghanistan and Iraq. For his military service, Green was awarded the “Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medical with two oak leaf clusters, the Army Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Achieveement Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Air Medal with the V Device for valor under heavy enemy fire while rescuing British Special Operations forces wounded near Fallujah, Iraq and the Combat Medical Badge,” as well as other awards.2 3

After his military service, Dr. Green founded an emergency room management company called Align MD, which he later sold to American Physician Partners, LLC. He also founded the Two Rivers Medical Foundation, “which operates two free medical clinics, and serves on the board of two nonprofit organizations that care for soldiers and their families as they return from war.”2 3

In 2016, Green was honored as a “Health Care Hero” by the Nashville Business Journal for  his “business leadership with Align MD, a health care staffing company, and his consistent work in the General Assembly to address health care innovation in insurance, delivery of care and access.”4

At a town meeting with constituents on Dec. 11, 2018, Green added another notable feat to his list of impressive accomplishments: He dared to veer from vaccine orthodoxy by questioning the accuracy vaccine safety data put out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and suggesting that there may be a link between vaccines and autism.

In response to a question about cuts in Medicaid funding by a mother of a young adult with autism, Dr. Green said:

Let me say this about autism. I have committed to people in my community, up in Montgomery County, to stand on the CDC’s desk and get the real data on vaccines. Because there is some concern that the rise in autism is the result of the preservatives that are in our vaccines. As a physician, I can make that argument and I can look at it academically and make the argument against the CDC, if they really want to engage me on it. But it appears some of that data has been, honestly, may be fraudulently managed. So we’ve got to go up there and stand against that and make sure we get that fixed, that issue addressed.5 6

It appears that Rep. Green may be positioning himself to join Rep. Bill Posey of Florida’s 8th congressional district and Dan Burton, former Representative for Indiana’s 5th congressional district, as a strong advocate for greater transparency with regard to vaccine safety research.

Green added:

It has been suggested on the floor of the House that the CDC may have not been transparent with data. Parents should vaccinate their children, but more research definitely needs to be done.5 6

Green’s reference to suggestions made on the floor of the House of Representatives appear to be related to the prepared remarks delivered by Congressman Posey in 2015 alleging that the CDC may have tampered with data involving an important study on health outcomes following administration of MMR (mumps, measles, rubella) vaccine to children.7 8

Inevitably, Green is also setting himself up for lots of nasty criticism, particularly from the corporate influenced mainstream media. Already, the predictable headlines have begun to surface. Here’s one from Esquire: “American Politics Is Full of Medical Doctors With Insane Ideas”. Here’s another one from Patheos: “New GOP Congressman Mark Green Rejects Science, Claims Vaccines May Cause Autism”.9 10

Then there is the headline on the website of astroturfer American Council on Science and Health that reads: “Anti-Vaxxers Like Congressman-Elect Mark Green Shouldn’t Be In Government”.11 12

So you have to fall in line 100 percent on vaccines or else you’re disqualified from public service? What other jobs or professions should one be blackballed from, and who shall serve as the Grand Inquisitor?

The knives are out and they’re being sharpened.

  1. Maybe he needs to contact other VIPs involved with vaccine safety. The higher VIP they are, the better.

If enough physicians who have seen the damage & remained silent will come forward, perhaps they can make a difference.

    Too much hiding stuff.

  2. Thank you Mark Greene for working towards more transparency regarding vaccine. I feel we aren’t getting the real story. We are a country full of sickness, obesity, raise in autism and a decline in general health. I feel vaccines, preservatives, GMOs are all likely causes! Certainly can’t hurt to get some real information!

  3. The people who shouldn’t be in government are the ones who only care about their financial gain. Everything that might possibly cause physical harm to any citizen of this country should be scrutinized, tested, studied, from every angle to prove its efficacy. Why put something in your system because someone else thinks you should? The advocates of choice only use it for their convenience. They can choose but you can’t?

  4. So is the Kennedy assasination and the 9/11 and more committed heinous crimes by those that being entrusted and trusted.

  5. If you look at the original MMR vaccine vial insert-AUTISM is listed as an adverse effect: http://vaccine-injury.info/trust.cfm

If you can find a copy of the original Pertussis vaccine vial insert and Blood and Biologic page from the CDC’s website, AUTISM & SIDS are listed as an adverse effect. The CDC and the pharmaceutical industry have gone to great pains to rewrite all the vaccine vial inserts. This is why Paul Offit made a remark in a speech to Drs a few years about how he hated vaccine vial inserts. Also CDC/hospitals have reworded the rules of people recently vaccinated visiting patients on their their patient visitation information page. Here is what St. Jude patient guide used to look like before the change:
Public Health Officials Know: Recently Vaccinated Individuals Spread Disease
    https://vaccineimpact.com/2015/public-health-officials-know-recently-vaccinated-individuals-spread-disease/
When this page started getting thousands of hits it triggered something in the CDC’s software and the page came down and back up a day or two later-changed.

FYI: the next time you go to the Dr or have to have emergency treatment or surgery, print in big letters on consent forms NO BIOLOGICS-NO VACCINES. In the ACA hospitals can give you vaccines without your specific consent.

I do it every time I sign anything in a medical setting.

  6. Advocating for ‘safer’ vaccines makes a lot of trouble. What about advocating for ‘better quality’ vaccines? Instead of epidemiology, what about table top? List the ingredients with toxicity and match them up to other potential ingredients that work just as well without the toxicity?

    1. I advocate for no vaccines because not one of them has been proven to work. The ingredients for vaccine are all over the net. Very easy to find but you won’t find the propriety ingredients because those are trade secrets. If you look at the adverse reactions of say the MMR: in the Pink Book on the CDC’s website it states that the vaccine will not protect everyone.

      Adverse Reactions Following Vaccination:
Adverse reactions following measles vaccine (except allergic reactions) represent replication of measles vaccine virus with subsequent mild illness. These events occur 5- 12 days post vaccination and only in persons who are susceptible to infection. There is no evidence of increased risk of adverse reactions following MMR vaccination in persons who are already immune to the diseases.
(This means for 5-12 days after the shot the child is contagious)

-Fever is the most common adverse reaction following MMR vaccination. Although measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines may cause fever after vaccination, the measles component of MMR vaccine is most often associated with this adverse reaction. After MMR vaccination, 5% to 15% of susceptible persons develop a temperature of 103oF (39.4oC) or higher, usually occurring 7 to 12 days after vaccination and generally lasting 1 or 2 days. Most persons with fever are otherwise asymptomatic.
(A fever is a temporary increase in your body temperature, often due to an illness. Having a fever is a sign that something out of the ordinary is going on in your body.-Mayo Clinic. The child has been infected and can infect others which is why there are so many outbreaks of illnesses around the back to school shots events in August & September. Also a runny nose and chest congestion is a sign the child has been infected because measles is a respiratory illness. The child’s nasal secretions contain the virus and so the child is contagious).

-Measles- and rubella-containing vaccines, including MMR, may cause a transient rash. Rashes, usually appearing 7 to 10 days after MMR or measles vaccination, have been reported in approximately 5% of vaccinees.
(Koplik spots or a rash is Measles-period. Rather than just say he child has been infected and the spots are proof the Pink Book just makes the above statement)

So if you break it down:
Vaccinated children are not only contagious they can also be infected themselves.
5-15% of children vaccinated will have a fever-they are infected and contagious.
5% will have Koplik spots, most likely also a fever. They are infected and are contagious.
-A large percentage of children will experience none of the above yet they still harbor a contagious virus they are just asymptomatic.

Also, the vaccine mutated decades ago in a form that’s called Atypical Measles and when a child is given a shot no one knows if the virus in the serum has mutated. On top of all of this no study has proven that the MMR has prevented one case of measles yet there are lots of reports and studies on outbreaks of measles in highly vaccinated areas.

FYI: From my nieces who are nurses and my cousins the Drs. Told me
when pediatricians saw kids with the exact same symptoms, labs and history of the measles illness, they would diagnose the un-vaccinated kids with “measles,” but the vaccinated would be diagnosed as “viral syndrome, NOS.”
This was on the basis that they assumed the vaccinated kids could NOT possibly have the disease! They say as far as they know it’s standard practice. So the percentage of vaccinated children who get the diseases may in fact be much higher than what we are told.

So I advocate NO vaccine until Independent unbiased studies prove that not only do they work but that they are safe.

  7. Personally, I have nothing but gratitude for those 3 men mentioned in the article…anyone with the strength to go up against “established” medical practice deserve support. The facts around vaccine safety will be apparent…someday…but at what cost? As a mother of 3, I have always questioned the safety of injecting chemicals into babies, and after years of following the science, and the anecdotal evidence, I think I have made the correct choices for myself and my family.

  8. I am grateful that Dr Green is speaking out and advocating for more research around vaccine safety and for more clarity and transparency about the existing research that shows links between autoimmune and neurological disease and vaccines. We need more people like him running our government! We need to wake up and stand up to protect the health of our children. We should not be mass medicating our citizens. We are born with immune systems that need to be supported not over whelmed by toxins!

  9. The CDC receives millions of dollars every year from the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture vaccines. You can bet they will do whatever to keep that money coming in. There have been studies done reporting that the prescribing practices of medical providers is influenced if drug company representatives give out something even as small as a pen or post-it notes to that provider. Can you imagine what kind of influence $90 million a year has?

  10. Another member of Congress who has spoken out for transparency in the CDC re: vaccines, is Representative Caroline Mahoney of New York.

  11. As a parent of a young adult with autism, I admire Senator Green for speaking out regarding deceptive information from the CDC regarding vaccine safety. However, as a progressive, I would advise others to check out Dr. Green’s views on equal rights for gay and transgendered individuals. He is on the right of Donald Trump, who wants to appoint him to a leadership position in the military.

  12. Yes, we definitely do need the randomized double blind placebo control studies including saline as a placebo to establish the safety of vaccines. Without the scientific method there is no proof of the safety of vaccines.

  13. I am so thankful for Mark Green we need more like him and Bill Posey in Washington who care about vaccines being safe and effective. I am trying to do what I can among my friends and relatives to spread how damaging vaccines have been and continue to be. I encourage all of you to do the same. I also plan to pray for these men and all the individuals who have been fighting this battle because they truly care about those who have been are being injured by vaccines. You have to have no common sense and completely oblivious not to see the extremes that the pharmaceutical industry has gone to push their vaccines on us. Their ads are all you see on TV and in the magazines. It makes me sick when I see signs that read, “Get YOUR flu shot here”. We Americans are letting them drug us from the womb to our deathbed. When will we as a nation wake up? God help us!
