The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is compiling case examples of reported harm related to receiving COVID-19 shots during pregnancy, according to sources cited by The Wall Street Journal in early September.1 Health officials plan to eventually publicly release the information they are compiling on the potential relationship between COVID shots and adverse effects on pregnant women, the developing fetus and babies born to women vaccinated during pregnancy.
To support this effort, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) commissioner Marty Makary, MD, MPH and Vinay Prasad, MD, MPH, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), have proposed waiving certain HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) privacy protections so regulators can access patient-level medical records that would otherwise remain confidential. The change could allow the Trump administration to publicly highlight more specific details on the potential harms of the shots for pregnant women.2 3
The probe comes after DHHS voted in June to withdraw COVID shots from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) vaccination schedule for healthy children and pregnant women. At the time, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. argued that federal recommendations had outpaced the science, writing in a social media post, “Last year, the Biden administration urged healthy children to get yet another COVID shot, despite the lack of any clinical data to support the repeat booster strategy in children.”4
Parallel Probe Focuses on Child Deaths After COVID Shots
The investigation into potential COVID shot harm to pregnant women and their babies is an extension of another effort led by Dr. Makary, who is preparing to release a report on child deaths following COVID vaccination. On Sept. 4, he announced that officials had launched an “intensive investigation” into cases reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), with findings expected in the coming weeks. The review includes autopsy records, VAERS submissions, and interviews with families of children who died after vaccination.
Makary said physicians are contributing to the investigation and emphasized that the goal is to produce “good data” to inform risk–benefit decisions by age group. Makary added:
We shouldn’t be using dogma to say everybody should get [a COVID vaccine], regardless of your circumstance.5
How Loosening HIPAA Protections Allows Access to Pregnancy Data
U.S. health officials’ request to waive privacy protections means they are seeking access to more detailed, patient-level medical records about pregnant women who experienced complications after receiving a COVID shot—most of them using mRNA technology. This type of patient level medical records information tis normally protected under HIPAA.
Typically, post-marketing safety surveillance relies on de-identified systems such as the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), where patients and providers can self-report suspected vaccine side effects, and the Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), which was created and is operated by the CDC and uses anonymized electronic health records included in databases operated by partner health maintenance organizations (HMOs).6
“De-identified” health data systems refer to patient records that have had all (or most) personal identifiers stripped so they cannot be traced back to a particular individual. These methods preserve confidentiality but often lack more granular detail, and many patients are unaware that reporting suspected vaccine reactions to VAERS is even an option, meaning adverse events following vaccination have been estimated to be seriously underreported.6
By loosening privacy protections, regulators hope to assemble a clearer picture of vaccine outcomes when shots are given to pregnant women—a step that could strengthen post-marketing safety surveillance by providing more detailed case data. Yet medical privacy is a nuanced issue, and critics warn that if these same safeguards are weakened, patients’ information could be vulnerable to corporate misuse or government overreach.¹
The federal government’s nationwide electronic health records tracking system, slated to launch in early 2026, is promoted as a way to modernize medical recordkeeping and improve patient access to their own health information. Privacy advocates, however, caution that the infrastructure could also broaden government and corporate access to sensitive personal medical records, particularly since the system is being developed with more than 60 technology and healthcare companies—many of which are not bound by HIPAA’s privacy requirements.7 8
Global Data Strengthens Debate Over COVID Shot Safety
Recent large-scale studies in Europe and Israel have heightened concerns about how COVID vaccination may influence pregnancy outcomes and fertility. Data from both countries have reported associations between vaccination and adverse reproductive outcomes.
A population-level analysis from the Czech Republic reported lower conception success rates among vaccinated women compared to their unvaccinated peers. Additionally, a large retrospective cohort study from Israel identified a significant increase in pregnancy loss when women received an mRNA COVID shot during the first trimester, particularly between weeks eight and 13 of gestation. Many of these losses occurred later in pregnancy—after 20 weeks gestation, with nearly half after 25 weeks—placing them in the category of stillbirths, which carry higher medical risks and profound psychological impacts for mothers.9 10
In 2023, researchers analyzed demographic data from 19 European countries and reported that birth rates declined sharply beginning nine months after peak COVID shot uptake in 2021, with Switzerland experiencing a drop more severe than during either World War, the Great Depression, or the introduction of oral contraceptives.11

What, the spontaneous abortions, all the side effects, the instant deaths, heart attacks on the field, all of that was not enough? The fact people are still pushing this shot and arguing against it’s continued use. The fact these faux medical professionals did not stop immediately when all the side effects were immediately apparent.
Testaments to the power of propaganda. They are still propagandized to this day, with an errant belief system that only the maximum amount of proof can shake their ardent and firmly held belief system that vaccines are ‘safe and effective’. However, they required no such proof to adopt this belief system, only the repetitive messaging was enough to condition them to be zealous supporters.
Let us know when we can graduate out of the kiddie pool, look at far more pressing and important issues than this. Such as the children whom survived the covid shot. Why are they so different, so communicative, it’s somewhat frightening. When will we test their genetic situations to see if they have been genetically altered and in what way? When will we research if the effects of the rnma technology transcribed into cellular activity in a way which passes with the next generation, for how long?

What’s this “during pregnancy” stuff? We already know that women who took the Covid jab died whether they were pregnant or not. Besides, the men who took the Covid jab and died, were never pregnant.
It is sheer idiocy to recommend a vaccine to a pregnant woman. I was pregnant three times in the past, and I don’t think I would ever have been stupid enough to take a vaccine. A woman should be careful of taking any meds during pregnancy. However, I realize some of the women felt they had to do so to keep their jobs, because of tyrannical mandates.

Anyone who can think, knows that helpful information that would have saved lives and damage and harm to individuals, was censored and suppressed during the past years and deception was practiced on the public.
With all the revealed knowledge of the devastating consequences of these mrna vaxxes to the public, it is incomprehensible that this vax is still pushed. The only reasons, that I can figure, are greed, profit, and control.
Why is it that most people are unable to learn from history. When they pulled this crap giving pregnant women the flu shot back in 2009, with the resulting immense amount of miscarriages you would think that would be an indelible memory for everyone. I am 76 years old and I remember in my 20’w the devastating affect the flu shot had in 1977. It was taken off the market within 10 weeks. I have never had a flu shot. I remember the garbage that the CDC, FDA, WHO, AMA have pulled over the past decades and know that this has been going on for over 200 years. These are criminal organizations; no different form any mob organization or cartel. The best rule of thumb is never trust anything they say or do.
I agree with privacy advocates this could be another way to get our data.
