Off-the-Shelf Vaccine for Pancreatic and Colon Cancer Tested

Off-the-Shelf Vaccine for Pancreatic and Colon Cancer Tested

A recent study published in Nature Medicine showed that a new off-the-shelf cancer vaccine helped the body’s immune system fight cancer in patients with pancreatic and colon cancer. In a Phase 1 clinical trial, the vaccine showed positive results, especially in preventing recurrence of cancer after treatment, boosting survival in patients who had surgery to remove their tumors.1

“Off-the-shelf” refers to a vaccine that is pre-made and ready to use, without the need to create a personalized vaccine for each individual. Instead, it is designed to target a common cancer mutation called KRAS, which appears in many pancreatic and colorectal cancers. Using short chains of amino acids (peptides), the vaccine “teaches” immune cells to recognize and attack cells with KRAS mutations.

Zev Wainberg, MD, co-director of the University of California, Los Angeles, gastrointestinal oncology program, who co-led the Phase 1 clinical trial, said:

If you were to ask me what disease most needs something to prevent recurrences, I’d say this one.1

Vaccine Targets Cancer Causing Mutant Gene

The vaccine, called ELI-002 2P, triggered strong and lasting immune responses in patients. It targets a mutant gene called KRAS, which drives many pancreatic and colorectal cancers. By focusing the immune system on this mutation, the vaccine may help prevent or delay the cancer from coming back after treatment.3

The study followed 25 patients with pancreatic or colorectal cancer who had surgery but still showed traces of cancer DNA in their blood, which can mean the cancer might come back. Each patient received multiple injections of the vaccine ELI-002 2P. After nearly 20 months of follow-up, the findings highlighted that…4

  • 84 percent of patients (21 out of 25) produced special immune cells called KRAS-specific T cells, which help fight cancer. Many of these cells stayed active over time.
  • In 24 percent of patients, the signs of cancer completely disappeared.
  • Patients who had stronger T cell responses stayed cancer-free much longer. In fact, many of these patients were still cancer-free when the study ended, compared to only about three months without cancer-free survival in those with weaker responses.
  • 67 percent of patients also showed immune responses against other cancer mutations, which means the vaccine might help fight a broader range of cancer cells.

Shubham Pant, MD of the University of Texas’ MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas explained that his team designed the vaccine using a special delivery method that helps it travel through the body more effectively. The vaccine attaches to a protein in the blood called albumin, which carries it straight to the lymph nodes, where the immune system gets activated.

This direct delivery helps create a stronger immune response, because the vaccine ingredients go straight to where they are needed instead of circulating freely in the bloodstream. Dr. Pant stated:

Basically, the vaccine hitches a ride on the albumin directly to the lymph nodes. This leads to a more robust immune response because the peptides aren’t running around, circulating freely in the blood, they are actually presented directly to the lymph nodes.5

Larger clinical trials will need to confirm these early results and further evaluate the vaccine’s effectiveness and potential for adverse effects.

  1. Sure, right. It has a brain so it knows what to target. And how much damage does it do in the process. And, we’re all supposed to believe it’s all true because you say so., just like the covid jab, which is actually a weapon of mass destruction and works just great for depopulation.

  2. Suzy J Smith

Back in March, Tucker Carlson interviewed Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong about his treatment for Pancreatic and Colon Cancer. He is calling it a vaccine–it is really a way to activate our killer cells to activate and target viruses.

Co-Vid was an oncologic virus (a cancer-causing virus). This interview was so exciting. I think this must be what he developed with the help of a great number of researchers. If I had cancer I would run to get this. Megan Kelly has also interviewed him–but Tucker’s interview is very in-depth. Dr. Soon-Shiong had this as a booster to the Co-Vid vaccine and he begged that they use it because he knew that vaccine was not good. Of course they did not use it. Everyone should listen to this interview.

Adding a correction. This must not be Dr. Soon-Shiong’s work because it sounds like it was developed at MD Anderson in Houston.

But I would still recommend that your readers listen to the Tucker Carlson’s interview.

    2. COVID is not and was not a cancer causing virus. Cancer and virus are two completely different diseases with different causes…with the exception that the mRNA COVID 19 vaccine with its spike protein (and whatever other toxins it contained) could very well damage the genome causing a great many gene mutations, but still not cause anaplaisia/chromosomal restructuring.

  3. I won’t comment on whether this works or not, just that I wish they’d stop calling these gene therapies ‘vaccines.’ (I also wish they’d stop changing the definition of ‘vaccine’ but that’s another story.) It’s very clearly stated that this is a gene therapy, it does not prevent cancer, it may fight it.

  4. These $ driven retards are so full of b.s.theyre used to the smell. Cancer is ANEUPLOIDY!!! (Duesberg/Boviar/Rasnick), or Chromosomal chaos…that starts with all the toxicities we are exposed to on a daily basis. DNA/RNA genes dont mutate without toxic causation….which provokes chronic inflammation. Cancer is a species with its own karyotype. What they, the “genes cause disease” camp, don’t mention is that the genomes of each cells chromosomes have 1000’s of special repair genes in the form of rtRNA that constantly repair damaged amino acid base pairs and strands. But without proper lifestyle, and therefore constant toxcicity, these repair genes cannot keep up.Teach the immune cells to fight a specific gene!? Nonsense. Russia is doing this too. Viruses do not cause cancer…ergo cancer would be contagious!. It is not. Stable DNA viruses such as HSV, HPV, Varicella (Pox), which are cytotoxic to the cells unlike rt(reverse transcriptase)RNA passenger, associated, messenger “virus” or exozomes,….. can be isolated without growth additives in the lab. Because….they are large double strand virus, 1000’s of times larger than rtRNA “virus”. And causation requires proof. DNA virus can pass the isolation test without growth additives or PCR. rtRNA “virus” cannot. My take is that rtRNA are repair bots not virus at all. Science is so conflicted and corrupted and the current crop of virologists so gaslit, it’s anything goes, nothings reproducible, kochs postulates discarded, Farrs law ignored, big pharma worshipped and career assassination the norm if honest docs and researchers don’t tow the Fauci-ists line! Go RFKjr go!
