In 1999, the U.S Public Health Service, along with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and vaccine manufacturers, jointly agreed that any potential risk from thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative found in some inactivated vaccines, warranted its removal as soon as possible. Over the next few years, most routine pediatric vaccines in the U.S. became thimerosal-free and contained in single dose vials, with the exception of influenza vaccines. Now, nearly two decades later, the phase-out has been formally completed, with a new policy finalizing the elimination of the mercury compound from all remaining vaccines.1
After a meeting in June, the newly appointed Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted 5-1 to recommend removal of thimerosal from all influenza vaccines in the United States. On July 23, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. signed off on the recommendation, officially adopting it into federal health policy.1 This will align U.S. policy with current practice in Europe, which phased out mercury throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.2
About four percent of influenza vaccines given in the United States still contain thimerosal. While that percentage is small, with roughly 147.6 million doses of flu vaccines distributed in the U.S. from 2024-2025, the small percentage would equate to 5.9 million people receiving a thimerosal containing flu shot.3 The influenza vaccines that contain thimerosal are those that are drawn from multidose vials to prevent bacterial or fungal contamination.4
Mercury-Free Alternatives are “Common Sense”
Secretary Kennedy has committed to restoring Americans trust by removing vaccine risks while still maintaining access to vaccines.
“After more than two decades of delay, this action fulfills a long-overdue promise to protect our most vulnerable populations from unnecessary mercury exposure,” Kennedy said. “Injecting any amount of mercury into children when safe, mercury-free alternatives exist defies common sense and public health responsibility. Today, we put safety first.”1
Kennedy has long been outspoken about mercury and its harms both to the environment and to human health. His critics and vaccine enthusiasts cite that there are no known dangers of ethylmercury, the type of mercury found in vaccines, or that the amount of ethylmercury is very minimal. Many also state that the reported link between mercury containing vaccines and autism has been discredited in various studies.4
Heavy Metals Suspected as a Contributing Factor to Autism
Despite the claims by public health officials that mercury preservatives in vaccines have not contributed to increases in autism, heavy metals are a suspected contributing factor in the development of autism spectrum disorder and other types of brain and immune dysfunction in some individuals. Exposure to mercury during critical developmental periods is thought to lead to oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and neuroinflammation that damage the developing brain. Some studies have also found higher concentrations of metals including mercury and lead in children with autism.5

It’s a little late!
Again, make them 100% voluntary since those who are pro vaccine believe in them so much. Leave the rest of us alone.

It’s insane to think Thimerosol is the only problem with vaccines. How about a list of ingredients: Aluminum, Mercury, SV40 (Monkey Virus), aborted baby boy fetal cells from the 60’s, cancer cells from a woman in the 60’s who had cancer and she was insane, Synthetic mRNA (which produces the Spike
Protein), fetal kidney cells, fetal eyeball cells, fetal kidney tissue (all considered to be cancerous), Polyethylene Glycol (causes deadly anaphylaxis in 70% of people), Polysorbate80, SM102 Luciferase ( this is a poison, and is a conductive Hydrogel that interfaces with electronic devices). Also in the shot is Graphene Oxide, also a poison, and crosses the blood brain barrier and is conductive, and electricians use it to conduct electricity.
And how about this… the Swab delivers drugs and vaccines into the nasal airway, delivers fibers into the body, combines with your tissue and creates an entire network and also forms blood clots. 60 to 70% of people who have a D Dimer test show micro clots.

Who is going to be checking on these vaccines to be sure mercury has been removed?
Only took twenty years to finalize the show. For the most frequently consumed vaccination product on the market, the flue shot. And only took twenty years before that to assimilate all the research, form conclusions, deal with politicians, and start to engage in regulatory change.
Boy, it’s a good thing the pharma companies can get rubber stamp fast track approval for every last damned new item they push to market much faster than this!
If you wait for the government to protect you from abusive corporations whom exploit your health for their profitable gains, you’ll be waiting forever. For what’s left of your shortened life span as you deal with chronic illness to the bitter end.
We said no to vaccines decades ago. And we meant it. We don’t even care about the science. Although finally the science is proving what we knew to be true all along, serious dangers with the products. No, the reason we and so many like us left; the incompetent bureaucracy and never ending uncertainty around the entire industry, their apparent willingness to use coercion and force, any means of deception or collusion necessary. That’s enough for us to say; These companies are not trust worthy. Neither are their representatives. Therefore we will not support their products.
I love what Susie Q said. I wish she cited her references. I knew about most of those ingredients listed, but it is aways good to supply where the info comes from and who did the research.
