We trust doctors to tell us what’s wrong when we’re sick or in pain. But some doctors can get it wrong. As many as 12 million adults in the U.S. are misdiagnosed every year, but women bear the brunt of that statistic. They are 20 to 30 percent more likely than white men to be misdiagnosed. And in some cases, the mistake can be deadly.

Please correct spelling ” . . . women bare the brunt . . .” as I don’t believe you meant to talk about women getting naked. Thanks!
Why do you write in “white men”, was the study restricted to people who happen to be male with white skin …. or are you just trying to boost a particular bias / slant in health standards community? If the study was done appropriately then it includes all – or if not let it make the distinction for white, black, brown, transgender, asian etc. ST)P the race baiting. And what about percent (facts) as per the number of women (of all colours) to men who seek medical care ? Time to get real.
