Camp Beds, Plain Bread in Shanghai’s COVID Quarantine

At this COVID-19 quarantine facility in the Chinese city of Shanghai, people lie in rows of camp beds separated by less than an arm’s length… their suitcases and other belongings strewn next to them. The facility showed more than 100 people who have tested positive for COVID-19 cramped on the floor in what looked like an office building. It is one of dozens of places in the city that have converted into quarantine centers in its battle to stem the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

  1. So some people can test positive for more then 90 days and they are no longer sick? The PCR test is less then 50 percent correct. I don’t think this is about being sick but controlling work flow to others.

  2. And Omicron is supposed to be far less serious with minimal death and hospitalizations. Why are these people still being quarantined? Perhaps it is the variant we all need to get to raise the herd immunity to COVID. And I understand that the PCR test cannot tell the difference between COVID and Type A seasonal flu! The world is being sucked down a vortex for no good reason.

  3. Crowded
    + Insufficent hygiene
    + Poor nutrition
    + Lack of exercise
+ No access to vitamin D
    = Disease incubator.

We have seen this in prison and nursing home. ☣️☠️
