I worry that the past two months of quarantine have given people the idea that the way for humans to win our million-year war with microbes is to avoid them completely. And I’m here to tell you… you can’t. The key to beating COVID isn’t dining through glass or never going to a concert or a ballgame again. It’s your immune system. You hear people say COVID-19 is a new virus so the immune system doesn’t know how to handle it. Of course, it does. That’s why the vast majority who’ve had it either recovered or didn’t even know they had it. What do you think did that? The human immune system. Now, there are people with immune systems that can’t do the job. And we should make it a priority to protect those people. But compulsively washing, being scared of your own hands… That can’t become the new normal.

Thank You Bill Maher! You are spot-on and correct. In fact: the “million year war with microbes” is not a “war” at all: We have all been told that it’s a war because that kind of rhetoric keeps the dollars flowing and the volunteers signing up for more antibiotics and vaccines. A far more accurate way of depicting this situation is: the “million year cooperative symposium with bacteria, viruses, fungi and archaea.” Everything we have learned about the human microbiome (and human virome) suggest that this is NOT a war, but one of the most sophisticated symbioses on the planet and that “we” depend and rely on these microbes (including viruses) and vice versa. It is NOT a war. More than 99.9% of all the human-microbiome interactions are symbiotic.
I was very impressed with what Bill said here. He was right on point. And I sent this to my friends and family. Unfortunately not everyone gets it. We still have a long way to go. There is a new biology and a paradigm shift in the works as to how our bodies work. And we just need to keep beating this drum — our bodies have an intelligence that medicine just doesn’t understand. We tinker here and there, but without a real understanding of what is going on in our wonderful, mysterious bodies.

As a mainstream commentator it is refreshing to hear you call out the B.S. of the quarantine. Everything being promoted is designed mainly for fear mongering and making people sicker.
It would be good to hear you address the difference between someone developing antibodies after exposure and actually have the ‘virus’ in their system in an active. If such were a real worry we should all be deathly afraid to simply breathe as we constantly take in micro-organisms which continually builds our immune system.
This current illness needs to be questioned as we have no idea what deaths are due to a flu type virus as opposed to other death causing conditions. We are being mislead due to the pharma industry quest for reason to create more and more vaccine drugs that they will never be responsble for the damage and failure of them.. That was due to Bush’s provided the Held Harmless status to that industry about 20? years ago. This needs to be publicized and explained as most people are clueless about this. As a consequence these corporations are free to promote all kinds of dangerous and untested drugs under this cover.
Currently the push is to create and even more dangerous drug vaccine based on RNA strands. This RNA possibility will allow these drugs to actually enter our cells and alter our cellular genome; ie, our DNA. What this will mean is that under the guise of this alleged virus these chemical corporations will actually be able to Genetically Modify our body as these changes will be permanent, be passed onto offspring forever, and there will never be any testing or liability!
If this doesn’t scare you , nothing will!
Bill Gates has a big foot in this. He is promoting mandatory vaccines and never lifting the lock down untill every person is vaccinated. Add to this he wants to include an electronic chip/tattoo that will allow tracking of a persons vaccine compliance. But this will never be enough for those who promote the surveillance state: these chips will be made to track everything we do. Gates also wants the same Held Harmless status as drug corporations. Of course, Gates will be the one to profit off patenting this new level in invasiveness in our lives and push us further along the path towards a totalitarian State of controlling everything we do.
Does this sound nuts? Most people think so, however, Gates actually talks about this. He has been linking vaccines to population control for a number of years. In Africa where he pushes his vaccine programs several nations have pushed him out as the vaccines cause miscarriages and infertility due to containing a molecule HCG that has this impact on life. In India where they had barely any wild polio, Gates pushed polio vaccines that left many 1000’s of children paralyzed!
This man is not a philanthropist. He even laughs about how he is using this reputation to push his agenda and make a fortune doing it. Gates needs to be called out as dyed in the wool Eugenicist!
Please consider using your public platform to talk about these things and help educate the public which has been totally bamboozled by all the professional fear mongering.

Please ask Mr. Mayer to find a better way to say: We are at war with microbes. We are not at war with them. As said, microbes are ubiquitous and as alluded to, they r necessary for a strong and resilient immune system. Dogs expose their immune systems to the germs of the area by sniffing other dogs etc. We need the exposure to microbes for our immune systems to activate it’s protections… if you don’t use it you loose it. If you vaccinate it, you run the risk of injuring it.
Leave out the bad language, personal attacks, and the political garbage and your content will be worthy of sharing.
Hi it’s not a new biology and paradigm shift. Since Pasteur the battle has gone on between the Germ theory vs the Host theory. Nothing new at all. And Maher, 150 years later makes a good argument for the host theory but we have decades, nay centuries of people speaking eloquently about the Host theory, which is where us holistic practitioners focus our efforts.

Kevin, what fallacies do you see? Note that he wasn’t making a comprehensive argument, but his ultimate point is of course correct. Indefinite measures will ultimately weaken the immune system, notwithstanding all the stresses and problems created by a shutdown of trade and production. It will be a downward spiral unto death.

I still watch the news a little just to know what they are leading us to, but I seriously dimished the time I used to spend doing that. No matter which news outfit anyone watches they have all become one in reporting fallacies and spreading the same fear tactic. Has quarantine burnt some neurons in those investigative journalists (among others) and removed their ability to think critically?
Regardless of what he says, whether he aligns or opposes, Bill Maher is not a man you can trust. He is a mouthpiece—always, and there will always be an ulterior motive for every word that comes out of his mouth. They will tell the truth if it serves their ultimate goals, and his/their ultimate goals are never going to consider our best interests.

From my reading, there are some people who have a severe reaction to this particular coronavirus that causes their lungs to fill up with infection although they’re still able to exhail CO2. This means that when they do have difficulty breathing, their illness is likely to require them to be on a ventilator.
At this stage we don’t really know the percentage of people who get this sick, or why some healthy younger people come down with it. We also have patients who seem to be struggling for many weeks and some who have kidney damage and heart problems.
I don’t think it’s helpful to pretend this virus isn’t a public health emergency at this point. I do agree that our best choice is not to “wait for a vaccine” which we know is problematic in itself, but to boost our own immune systems as much as possible.

The only reason it’s not is the immoral relationship between the unholy trinity of the leaderships of the AMA, Big Pharma and our own government. Always remember that on his deathbed, Louis Pasteur recanted his germ theory. He said, “Bernard was correct. I was wrong. The microbe (germ) is nothing. The terrain (milieu) is everything.” There are many variations of this recant. But the essential admission is intact. Bernard was Claude Bernard, who got the terrain theory from Antoine Béchamp (who called it the microzymian theory). You can find a lot of well presented information about this issue online. And your should. New Information refutes the germ theory saying (a) The body is not sterile: Bacteria and viruses have been found and identified in healthy people. (b) A particular microbe does not cause a corresponding disease: The same bacteria and viruses that have been associated with disease have also been found in healthy people, where they apparently play a benevolent role.
