The one thing that I love about Oregon is that there’s medical freedom for us to choose exactly what we feel is best for our health care. This bill has been introduced in a state of emergency status and there’s no evidence whatsoever that we’re in any state of emergency. My children, because of some medical issues that we have in our family, have not been able to keep up with the CDC’s schedule and, if this bill passes, my children are going to be forced out of school. Whether we as parents believe, individually, in vaccines or not, do we believe, as Americans, in freedom of choice?

As a Naturopathic Doctor I am opposed to forced vaccinations of children.
Parents should have the right to decide whether their children should be vaccinated or not.
This is why we have, “The Bill of RIghts” to protect our medical freedom.
Please help protect those rights by not passing these laws.

I am so grateful for all you who are fighting this insane push for medical tyranny. They have underestimated our intelligence and resolve! We have not only been exposing the lies about vaccine safety, we are exposing the corruption and collusion of and between the pharmaceutical industry, federal health agencies the government and way too many legislators!
Continue to contact our senators and representatives and not just the ones from your district.
Bombard them with the FACTS! If you can, make appointments and meet with them. The evidence is out there, all we have to do is get them to really look at it because apparently the documented record showing vaccine inflicted permanent injury and deaths are not enough to convince them that mandatory vaccination is a very very bad idea.

the land of the free ! what a joke. This country has become the laughing stock of the world. Unfortunately some countries still mirror themselves to the US and force parents to poison their children with a myriad of vaccines. But at least in Europe, it seems like the forced vaccination only happens in cases of emergency. I remember one forced vaccination in the Netherlands, where a group of Calvinists were forced to vaccinate for (I think) measles, when there was an epidemic. This is quite some time ago. In Belgium there is one obligatory, polio, and about 5 or so voluntary vaccinations. The vaccination when I went to school was given the first week in first grade. All the other vaccinations were unnecessary, as I had had all sicknesses and survived even though being born premature. I am 61.
I wish people would come to understand that opposing government-mandated medical treatments is not being against that particular treatment. Rather, It is being against the government assuming control over decisions that are for the citizens and specifically parents of children to make. This is primarily a human rights issue. And it’s also an structure of power issue. The US was structured as a democratic republic. One would expect this in a totalitarian regime, not in a democratic republic. Especially since there is no emergency, no epidemic, no one is at risk. I vote for Keeping medical treatments voluntary.

I’m irritated that the legislation-related conversation is about vaccine safety at all! Yes, that’s an issue. It’s not THE issue! And some of us dare to believe America is still free. That freedom was and is bought with a price. We will always fight to keep it.
I hope that a groundswell of activism can turn this around in Oregon, in my state of Wisconsin and throughout this country. Am I realistically hopeful? Not so much. We are up against big money and big gullibility. “Everybody knows that the science is settled. Vaccines work and they are safe.” Facts are irrelevant.

I came to America from Eastern Europe some 25 years ago because I was so impressed by the freedom and liberties that Americans enjoyed. I grew up under communism and God knows we had none of those. As far as my experiences and impressions on this subject, USA has been mostly a disappointment. It is getting worse by the year, accelerating lately. How on Earth American people don’t understand that by letting the government coerce them into accept a vaccine is opening a Pandora’s box and that this is just a beginning is beyond me! I guess mass brainwashing in public schools for the last couple of decades is finally doing its job. Whatever hapened to the basic understanding of The Constitution and The Bill Of Rights?

Oregon is supposedly a very “liberal”(root word-liberty) state. However, lately it seems liberals appear to be big government, control freaks.
There are thousands, no millions, of us who cannot tolerate any chemicals, even from “well-meaning medications” or vaccinations. I am one of those. My father was also. My child is one of those. Now, my grandchildren are like this. It IS genetic. There are so many that simply cannot tolerate these ‘interventions’! I got so sick my first grade in school, after receiving 3 polio shots that school year… so, one every 3 months. I was sick at least half of the school year. They almost held me back. They didn’t – I am a strong reader. But math has always been hard. But what I do know is this: PARENTS KNOW BEST WHAT IS BEST FOR THEIR OWN CHILDREN. THEY KNOW. IN THEIR HEARTS, IN THEIR GUTS. No Dr, or anyone else, and much less any government official should ever choose for those children. The PARENTS need to have COMPLETE CONTROL over their own children. If they do not, then we will live in the era of a Nazi-like government. Who will win? NO ONE.

I have been a staunch Democrat/liberal until all the laws the Democrats have been trying to pass this last year like this one, (where I live in Colorado HB19-1312 was pushed through by Democrats & a few Republicans but this bill was killed by Republican Senators). I noticed in Oregon that out of the nine representatives pushing this law only one is a Republican. I am standing up and letting all the Democrat representatives in CO know that after 30 years voting only for Democrats that I have joined the ‘Walk Away’ movement. Maybe, if Oregon citizens start conveying this message to their representatives perhaps a shift will occur.
If we let them stick needles in us by force, what will be next? Vaccination should be by informed consent only. Period.
If vaccinations are safe then their manufacturers should have absolutely no problem standing behind them by law. Return the liability to the manufacturers. This would be the beginning of trust.
People should know that HB3063 is dead for the year. Legislators said the opposition to it was unlike anything they had experienced before. But truth be told, it would have been a very close vote fi the Republicans hadn’t made a deal to support a school finance bill in exchange for this one and one other being killed–at least for this year.
The opposition to forced vaccination has been brilliant and dedicated. I wish other people in other states facing this same bill could see the effort Oregon put out. We know our win is temporary, but it would be helpful if those facing the same battle in other states could build on some of what we did. If we all keep at it, we can defeat this.
