Part of the panel was meant to deal with the HPV vaccine, namely is there any objective to show that the current HPV vaccine program is not justified and what is the evidence, if any, that the HPV vaccine prevents cervical cancer and, therefore, can offer long-term benefits, because that’s the basis that they’re being promoted as a cervical cancer vaccine. And also briefly to touch on the nature and incidence of adverse events. What the clinical trials for HPV have shown is that they can prevent some portion of lesions caused by HPV-16 and -18 viruses. And so, obviously, it was deduced from that that it’s likely that they would prevent cervical cancer. The issue is can someone make such a leap making such a conclusion.

What a fabulous and effective presentation of science. A must-all for all young women and their mothers who have concerns about vaccination with HPV.
Thank you for challenging the current trend toward this insistence that the HPV vaccine is some kind of saviour. I hope many hear this presentation and understand that serious illnesses and death that have occurred because of this vaccination. My heart breaks for those young women and their families who have to deal with the side-effects
excellent discussion!
Thank you for your presentation and thoughts on the Gardasil vaccine.
My daughter has symptoms similar to other girls who has a reaction to the Gardasil vaccine which she received the first in Sept 2011. All this time we were told it was a food allergy and would clear itself over time, don’t worry everything will be fine. The List of Symptoms she has in varying degrees over the last four years – headache -severe, almost all the time, seizures, strong sweat odour, low sugar levels ,blurry vision, increased floating spots in the eyes over time, sensitivity to light, buzzing in ears almost all the time, diarrhoea, upset stomach, heart palpitations, tremors or unexplained shaking numbness in body, tingling, pinpricks, light headedness, wooziness mood swings, irritability memory loss (short or long term) difficulty with concentration or reading, weight loss for two years, fatigue – tired continuous
Symptoms seem to change, come and go such as the rash on her legs above her ankles.
Unfortunately so far the only explanation is a food allergy followed by more tests, she suffers in silence. The doctors, if they even admit the possible connection between Gardasil vaccination and the symptoms, have no idea how to help her. We spend our time going from appointment to appointment, from specialist to specialist trying to find someone to help us. It is only in the two months that we made a connection with the symptoms of the girls who received the Gardasil vaccine and our daughters condition.
